Hey there my friend!

Hope today is treating you well.

As I am on yet another train ride-I can’t help but reflect on the goodness of the Heavenly Father. This year has taught me more about dreaming big than any other year of my life. I have received true freedom from past pains or mistakes, freedom from the opinions of others, and freedom from the expectations of what the world says I should do. In return some of this has created a new space to dream big & without limit!

I am realizing & starting to walk in the confidence that I was made to “Fly”. I am not bound. I am free. I am not stuck, I am able. I am not helpless, I am hopeful. I can take risks in faith & I can dream BIG!

Thinking about such things stokes me up to dream big about what lies ahead in the future. While I am not entirely sure what that future looks like, I do know a few things:

Who am I? I am a daughter of the Heavenly father of all that is good & right in this world

Who am I created to be? I am created to be an ambassador of JOY!

What am I passionate about: I am passionate about creating, discovering, making people feel welcomed & cherished, & having FUN! The overarching umbrella within all of this is putting Jesus on display. As a good mentor of mine once stated “Putting Jesus on display is my measure of a successful day” I love that & desire to live by that daily too.

What do I love to do? I love to share the good news of Jesus Christ, connect with people, international relations, & creating to inspire & empower others through art & communications.

I think God really loves it when we discover more about ourselves and dream big too. After all-He is the greatest dreamer to exist I think! All it takes it one look at nature to know-the creator, created some very beautiful life. & that includes you too my friend! You are fearfully & wonderfully made!

I’ve got a few ideas up my sleeve on how to put all these passions and loves into action beyond the race, but for now I will leave with several ideas I have been dreaming up:

-Publishing a book (or several)
-Starting up a podcast to inspire others
-Starting up a blog
-Eventually having a home where I can host travelers coming through weekly
-Finding a flexible work space in effort to provide room for all these dreams & to pursue what I am most passionate about & what makes me come alive.
– & so many more!

Time will tell my friend, but whatever it is, I am also excited about.

What are you passionate about? What do you love? What are some of your dreams? Please, gimme a comment below, I would love to hear!

Psalm 139:14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous–how well I know it.

I came across a chapter in the book of Hebrews recently, specifically Hebrews Chapter 11. & man did it inspire me & I hope you can find inspiration from this too:

I noticed several biblical characters who chose to step out of the “conventional lifestyle” & into one of big risk taking & adventure! It was their Faith that propelled them on to live radically & into the fullness the were made to be! (This does not downplay ANY corporate job or anything like that!)

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead. By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.”For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith. By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise. And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore”.

Until next time my friend,

Kailey

  1. I love this, Kailey!! I love that you have thought out some specific goals and dreams! It makes a difference to have specific things in mind, not just vague goals.
I also have been learning about dreaming more this year. In January, I watched a video by Julia Robertson (a former World Racer) about her bucket list. It blew my mind, because she had some pretty wild things on there, and she had done half of them (she had 100 things on her list)! It prompted me to start my own bucket list, including: go on the World Race and return to Japan. So I looked up the World Race website, and a new route had just come out, that included Japan! So I applied, and will be going next January!

  2. Awe thank you so much Susanna! Girl, I am so excited for you to do this journey. You are going to THRIVE!

SOOO COOL! I am looking forward to hearing about your adventures/ Thank you for sharing 🙂

What are you doing between now and then before you take off?
