Halo ela unnaru! (Hello, how are you in Telegu!)

We finished the awakening conference in Hyderabad & WOAH, it was AWESOME! We had a guest speaker who came in & he also brought the love, power, authority, & goodness of the heavenly father with him. He was so childlike. It rocked. We as a squad gleaned quite a bit in that time & had many opportunities for self reflection, equipping, & time to love on one another as well as the community around us.

I had an opportunity to chat/pray/encourage with the general manager of the Ashirwood housing hotel, & it was really cool to find out that all the income made from people who stay in this housing, actually goes towards supporting the Christian Ministries within India. So essentially, the financial provision I received from you, is partially supporting the ministries within India too. It’s a ripple affect & God truly does use it abundantly! So while I am being housed in a place that feels like a safe refuge to be, that same money is being shared to India. I love that.

A large group of friends & I had several opportunities throughout the week to pray, bless, & encourage the staff working at Ashirwood. It was such a joy to see & for them to share that they felt encouraged by us there! I made a dear friend there who did quite a bit of the maitnence & though I only really knew how to say hello, how are you & my friend, we had conversations after conversations & the connection was real. We didn’t even have to understand each other completely to know that we were friends & liked spending time around each other. Haha! There are the times that make my heart feel so full.

One of my favorite highlights this past week was simply playing soccer with some of my friends & the local children of India. We played a game called “world cup” where the goal was two palm trees & each of us picked a country as our team. Every time we went to try and make a goal, we would have to shout “team ___!” For several hours, the hotel heard a bunch of younger adults & children shouting, laughing, and kicking the soccer ball. Team China! Team India! Team Chile! Team Italia! We were drenched in sweat by the end of it. I was also sore the next morning. I went to bed smiling that night, & trying not to laugh too hard over the memories that were made earlier from that day. Oh my gosh. What a joy. I love FUN!

Something I have been learning ALOT the past 2 months has been that I am a warrior. A warrior for Love.

I really feel that God uses people to teach us new things that we are meant to grow into & learn & I have had the privilege and honor of learning quite a bit from a new teammate & cherished friend of mine, Ari. This girl is pictured above. She is someone who walks in strength, honor, integrity, & respect. She is not afraid to speak up & she is one whose heart is to empower. Ari has stood in the gap for me countless times in the past 4 months, reminding me of my worth & sharing her heart is what it means to fight for fullness of life in the here and now, from the inside out.

She’s got an incredible gift of teaching on her life & I have had the privilege to learn about what it can look like to be a warrior for love. Here are a few quotes that I would love to share with you from our past conversations or talks on this subject. I hope this ministers to your heart as much as it has mine.

“Our culture has taught us that both of these mentalities are valid. It’s okay to complain, it’s okay to blame our feelings on someone else because that someone else caused those feelings right? It’s okay to say “this is the way I am. Life’s been taught and I cant help it so this is me. Wow is our culture wrong. This is not what the Lord has called us to. So what has he called us to? What is the attitude the Lord desires for us?….Personally, I believe the Lord has called us to be his soldiers in an army against the ultimate evil, which has blinded and cornered this world into complacency, victimization, and defeat…I could go on with my opinions on how I think we should be warriors for the light but my opinion is not what matters. So this is what God says:” -A.S.

Psalm 139: 13 “For you created my inn most being, you knit me together in my mothers womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

“God’s soldiers are not weak, they are created wonderful” -A.S.

2nd timothy 1:7 “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power. of Love & of self discipline”

“Even if you are soft spoken, even if you are gentle, even if you are filled with kindness, the Lord still made you bold and has given you power to stand up as the person He has made you to be. -A.S.

2nd timothy 2:3 “Endure hardship like a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one serving as a soldier gets involved with civilian affairs-He wants to please his commanding officer.

“A solider fights to please his commanding officer. He fights for what he believes in. He does not let the cattiness of civilian affairs such as gossip, cruel words against one another, or slander, effect his goal. He brushes them off, because the Goal is to please the officer, not the world around him” -A.S.

Galatians 5:1 “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery”

“Christ sets us free, but it is our daily choice to live boldly in that freedom. We must stand firm in this freedom & promise of salvation” -A.S.

“When we take our eyes off ourselves & allow the Lord to take control of our pains, worries, frustrations, scars, & wounds, we become a much more effective soldier because our goal is no longer set on “fixing ourselves” but rather showing the love of Christ to others. In doing this I have found that our Lord, the commander, shed’s light and healing in the darkest places” -A.S.

“The light always triumphs over darkness & the good will always trump over any evil” -A.S.

So there you have it. Some good nuggets of wisdom, in my opinion! I have been so gifted to have this friend on my team & have learned so much from her. All praises be to God, the good good Father who really knows what we need @ the perfect timings.

I am a soldiers for love. A soldier for helping to awaken souls to their true identity. A soldier for knowing the truth & protecting the truth. I am a solider for the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the one who taught us what Love is in the first place. Love has a name & I truly believe it is Jesus.

So, just like me, you are a warrior too friend. A warrior for love. A fighter for our brothers & sisters. A warrior of prayer, & a warrior through word & action. Be encouraged today, you ARE making a difference in the lives of people around you! & never forget to dream big!

We are currently still in Hyderabad, India. Headed to the North part of India within the next few days, after we get tickets for the 24 hour train ride, WOWZA!

More updates to come soon.

In peace,
Kailey

P.S. Thought for the day: It’s wild to think that as a followers of Jesus, we help to carry on the lineage of the Israelite’s back in the day. All the way to the bible times! I can’t believe Queen Ester is one of my spiritual sisters in the past. Mary, mother of Jesus, mother of the same Jesus that I know too! Abraham, John the Baptist, David. Woah! It is a wild thing for sure.

P.S.S. You ROCK!
