Hey there! Hope this update finds you well. This is a wild life my friend, sometimes I think to myself “what the what is happening, or how did we get here? Haha!” But it is so good & hard & beautiful & heart aching all at once. There is a lot of brokenness in this world, but also so much Hope through the Father of all that is right & good too. I just can’t get enough of Jesus! He is so COOL!

Everyday I have been intentional to carve out a chunk of time to simply sit with the Father, & man I hope to never stop. Sometimes I lose track of time, other days I am sad to leave that space & move onto other things, but still look forward to the next time I get to simply sit & be still with God. It is such a real, living relationship. Sometimes I ask myself, “why don’t I come to God sooner in those big questions/or situations I am not sure in what to do that I get every now & then?” The more I spend time in the Word, the more I learn what it looks like to walk in truth, purity, compassion, & love. I just loveeee it!

Anyways, it’s been a wild adventure living in Kazakhstan the past week. My friends & I have had a several days full of adventure, fellowship, hard work, and fun with our new friends. It’s been a week of immersing ourselves into the Almaty Community-a time I will cherish forever. This video shows a glimpse of several adventures we went on. I do hope you enjoy!

Coming up next…we will head to the Caspian sea in just a few days to then cross over in a big boat to get to the next country, Azerbajian. There, we will spend about 6 days of a time for Debrief & processing the past several months. After that, our squad will head to Georgia (yes there is a country called Georgia 😉 & that is where I will reconnect with my parents. I am STOKED! & so GRATEFUL that they are choosing to make that trek. It will be a week to remember for sure.

To get to the Caspian sea, all 28 of us will travel by a private bus for about 3 days. WOAH! Thankfully, we will have sleepers on that bus & man, that is such a gift. In the next blog, I will be sure to let you know how all this goes. Should be a good time catching up with friends, processing with a pen and journal, reading, & helping to plan for Debrief with my awesome co-logistics buddy.

Thank you for tuning in, will connect with you again soon in about a week & I hope this video puts a smile on your face 🙂
